Set a stone’s throw away from the Piazza di Santa Maria Novella, the new Florence location has been designed by interior and product designer Paola Navone and local architecture firm Genius Loci Architettura.

The design pays homage to renowned Florentine writer Dante Alighieri and his classic work The Divine Comedy in the interior design.

Dante’s Inferno and Paradiso form the basis of Navone’s design narrative, with two rooms specifically tailored to reflect her take on the wanderings through heaven and hell.

The hotel brings together three properties, giving 25Hours 10,750sqm of floor space to play with; including the rooftop of an historic 18th century bank which the company is turning into an Italian restaurant.

River Kwai floathouse

Floating on the famous River Kwai in the Kanchanaburi area of Thailand is a collection of boutique villas that can only be accessed by boat. Each villa features a private balcony and pier that provide guests with a private platform to view the panoramic scenery, and spacious common spaces connect the rooms.

The design incorporates natural materials and ropes in a ‘boutique folk style’, blending local traditions and the natural environment through teakwood furniture and locally sourced bamboo.

Guests staying in the suite also have access to the accommodation’s private healing salt room, two massage rooms and fitness room.
