Issue 48 February 2019 Preview

In the next issue of Design & Build Review, out in February, we’ll be looking at the trends and challenges facing architects in the coming year and how design is changing as we near the dawn of a new decade.

We’ll also take a look at how retail design is transforming, and consider the increasing role emerging technologies are playing in the architecture of new cities.

Plus we’ll be continuing our Bauhaus season, which celebrates the 100 year anniversary of the school, and have another dive into the world of hotel design with the DBR Hotels supplement.

Before then, look out for the release of the DBR Yearbook for 2018, which brings together the best of 2018 along with profiles of celebrated projects from the past year.
