Issue 51 August 2019 Preview

In the next issue of Design & Build Review, out in August, we’ll be looking at sustainability within architecture, a topic that is currently enjoying growing interest from developers and clients alike.

We’ll look at how mass timber construction is being used to create functional but sustainable structures, and find out how innovations are driving the development of true eco-cities where environmental credentials are considered at all stages of development.

Plus, we’ll also look at a project that is set to bring large-scale upcycling to the architectural agenda and profile sustainability pioneer Rozana Montiel, winner of the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture 2019.
