The Empathy Suite: Inside Damien Hirst’s Las Vegas design

Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas has unveiled a new luxury hotel suite designed in collaboration with world-renowned British artist Damien Hirst. Dubbed the Empathy Suite, the extravagant design boasts an exclusive, artistic and very expensive guest experience. We take a look at one of the world’s most expensive hotel suites.

Dining room

With a price tag of $200,000 for a two-night stay, the Empathy Suite is one of the world’s most expensive hotel guest experiences.

Media lounge

The 9,000 square-foot, two-story hotel suite plays host to a unique collection of contemporary art showcasing six of Hirst’s original pieces.

Game room

Designed in collaboration with award-winning firm Bentel & Bentel, Hirst’s personal touch extends to almost every aspect of the villa, including the carpeting and serpentine-shaped Italian leather sofas, which feature his butterfly motif.

Bar

The villa features a 13-seat curved bar created by Hirst and filled with medical waste. Hanging directly above the centre bar is the artist’s Here for a Good Time, Not a Long Time (2018) piece.

Bedroom

Both master bedrooms are fitted with California-King beds, spacious closets and large bathrooms with feature inlaid stone butterflies in the Venus gray marble flooring.

Bathroom

Guests staying in the suite also have access to the accommodation’s private healing salt room, two massage rooms and fitness room.
