Form and function: Dubai’s guest-focused development
Dubai is known for its extravagant and luxurious hotel designs, but a new concept in the city’s Al Jadaf neighbourhood is making headway for its novel features that allow guests to personalise their stay. We find out more about the guest-friendly design of FORM Hotel Dubai.
In the heart of Dubai’s Culture Village, the 15-storey FORM Hotel is a concept hotel that allows travellers to customise their stay with a variety of add-ons.
Designed to create a tailored guest experience by Paris-based Architecture Studio, the stark white façade and contemporary calligraphy etched along the extruding frames hearken back to the country’s origins, while floor-to-ceiling acoustic windows offer a unique view of Dubai.
Inside, the guest rooms are adorned with bespoke art deco-inspired furniture. The envision black, aluminium metal frame pieces with brushed brass knobs are complemented by the light-inspired white plaster, marble and walnut wood used to decorate the rooms.
The lobby and restaurant are set in large, open areas that have been intentionally designed to connect the hotel’s public spaces to the city.
Using FORM’s customisation platform weFORM, guests can curate their stay with add-ons, such as bathrobes, pyjamas, babysitters, butlers and a turn down service.
