There are always new materials, fixtures and fittings being released. Here we highlight some of our favourites from the last few months

Verdigris Congo Tap

Part of a bold collection of copper taps from Proper Copper Design made in Brighton, the UK, the Verdigris Congo Tap is a striking option for contemporary and industrial schemes. The tap pairs aged brass with treated verdigris copper, which is sealed with marine-grade lacquer to prevent further colour changes.

Kannel Stairs

Developed by Finnish company Grado, Kannel is a striking stairs solution that is designed to be mounted to concrete walls. Although only suitable for straight stair configurations, Kannel is available in birch, oak or ash, with non-slip grooves to ensure safety. The design, which is intended to “exude cosiness and harmony”, also comes with either black or white railings.

Lumi-Plugin

Merging LED lighting with a selection of different ceiling-based fixtures, Lumi-Plugin is designed to “streamline the ceiling”. Among the range are downlights with built-in sprinklers, mains smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. The result is a simplified ceiling finish with all of the safety features required for a given scheme.

Jazz Knob with Back Plate

Part of the Modern collection from Myoh, the Jazz Knob is designed to be functional but elegant, providing an unusual and striking finish for kitchens and beyond. Pictured in split black and satin brass, the fitting is available in a large selection of different materials, including nickel, brass, titanium, chrome and graphite.

Ghost Showerhead

Developed by Italy-based Antonio Lupi, Ghost is a sleek showerhead solution that is ideal for hotels and high-end residential projects. It features nozzles that are recessed into a flat plate, which is available in both square and rectangular configurations, meaning that it is near invisible when not in use. The solution can be matched to any colour, making it suitable for a wide range of aesthetics.
