PATINACOLLECTION

for architectural design

Patina Collection is the new release proposed by Adapta. This collection responds to the decorative requests that seek to mimic the natural oxidation of metals. This range includes Plain Oxide Patina finishes like Corten steel and several choices of oxidised or aged copper. Crystal Patina brings creased finishes. These collections have a very regular chromatic effect which in some cases may reflect a lack of realism or certain artificiality. The innovative effort of Adapt to answer these objections by both architects and industrial designers has led to the study and development of the Tile Patina, Oxide Patina I, Oxide Patina II and Soft Patina ranges.

These ranges pose imitations on the oxidation of metal and terracotta with irregular finishes pleasant to the touch that gives them a double dimension of realism and advanced aesthetic that suggests or take us to remote and exotic locations. The names of the different products reflect this dual dimension by closing this chromatic circle around the world, suggesting places where ancient secrets are hidden. From the lonely expanses of Patagonia to the silent ice in the North Pole. From the still unexplored jungles of the Amazon to the door of the Sahara Desert in Timbuktu, the African savannah, ocean breezes, majestic waterfalls, infinite dunes, cold and wild cliffs, an endless number of places which transport us and make us feel alive. Life which our Patina Collection wants to infuse in objects created by man.

Simultaneously we have also released NEONCollection ®, which is oriented toward industrial design and brings together 38 chromatic proposals where fluorescent finishes predominate. Nevertheless, it also incorporates some novelties as photo-luminescent blue, fluorescent photo-luminescent finishes, Serpentia finishes, Leaf finishes, and creased finishes with BackUp technology. All of these products are presented in 4 ranges which are: Glossy Neon, Neon Finishes, Luminescent Neon and Gemstones.

All of the metal finishes collected in the two collections have been developed under the ADAPTA BONDING SYSTEM ® technology which facilitates optimal application.
